First of all this week I want to say Happy 40th Anniversary to my wife Tammy! Many
of you have taken a lot of the journey with us, but it has truly been a
Loving, Adventurous and Rewarding 40 years of marriage, plus the 7 we
dated before that. We have shared one incredible, awesome, adventurous
and loving life together. I have been so blessed to spend these years
with the most fantastic Woman, Wife and Mother I could ever have been
with. I'm a firm believer that Soul mates are a real thing! Thank you
Tammy for an awesome 40 years! And here is to another 30! I Love You
more every day! Thanks to all of you that have shared the last 20 years with us. Click Here for a few photos of us over the years.
As you get older, you start to slow down a bit and finally get a chance to appreciate what is around you.
Suddenly those little things that you didn't pay attention to before
turn out to be pretty cool. We should have been enjoying these things
all along, but life gets in the way and we always say we will do that
tomorrow or next week or next year. A lot times, those Manana's never
come. I ran across a Meme that really spoke to me the other day. It is
a cartoon of Charlie Brown and Snoopy from a back view setting on a
dock looking out at the water. Charlie says: "We only live once, Snoopy". Snoopy says: "Wrong! We only die once. We live every day!
I've tried to live Snoopy's motto for most of my life. But getting my
Medicare card in the mail this week has reminded me to continue to
follow that advice and not forget to live every day. Click Here for the Meme.
Well, just when we thought the first bike night was the biggest
ever, you all surprised us with the second night being even more packed
than the first night. I can't tell you how great it is to see everyone
out enjoying each other without masks, enjoying a great excuse to get
out to a great destination and once again hearing Live Music! These
first 2 nights have been a joy for me as it had been 542 days since our
last bike night and I was really missing seeing all the bikes, the
riders and the excitement. Thanks to all for coming out!
